Daniel Croix is an actor in film, television, and theatre — best known on screen for The Oval (BET Network), Manhunt (Apple TV+), Love Victor (Hulu), and on stage in Much Ado About Nothing (The Public Theatre Shakespeare in the Park). He’s passionate about collaborating to bring beautiful and memorable stories to life.
He’s also a filmmaker. His film Huli was programmed in Oscar-qualifying film festivals, museums, and screenings across the US and abroad. He was selected as a part of a director’s cohort with the NAACP where he co-directed Oasis. He produces and develops films at Ringshout Productions.
His collaborations in contemporary art have appeared in Honolulu Museum of Art, Plimsoll Gallery, Burchfield Penney Art Center, Squeaky Wheel Media Arts Center, and Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center.
While not on set, he’s free-diving in the open ocean, visiting sacred sites, cherishing family, and collaborating with friends — combining reverence for land/oceans, cinema, ancestral remembrance, and consciousness. He lives between Los Angeles and Honolulu and travels frequently for acting projects, community-building, and research. He was born in Buffalo, NY, and has a BFA in Acting from SUNY Purchase.
